Happy summer, folks! It's here and it feels great. This summer I've been fortunate to live above an ice cream shop that is across the street from the beach. That's got its obvious advantages (when I actually get some free time)! The new EP is well underway and entering the mastering process and we've got some big things lined up for the release party. In the meantime, I want to share some new videos with you.
Last week I got another invitation to venture into the forgotten. Check out episode 2 of Live From Nowhere:
Be sure to follow the link at the end for a couple of bonus videos featuring cover songs by The Felice Brothers and Joshua James.
The past few weeks have been particularly exhausting, but I would be lying if I said I haven't enjoyed it. Last weekend, I shot down to Cape May. NJ for the 7th Annual Singer/Songwriter Cape May Conference. The trip gave me the opportunity to see what a funky little town Cape May is, hear some great music and spend some time with some friends, new and old.
After the haul back from Cape May on Sunday, I decided to kick this week off Monday morning with a venture into the unknown. Here's the first installment of a series I'll be calling, 'Live From Nowhere.' This one features a new song from my upcoming EP called, "Say Hello."
The past couple of months have been a bit of a blur. There has been so much going on that I almost forgot to let y'all know I'll be heading' down to Cape May, NJ in a couple weeks for the annual Singer/Songwriter Cape May Conference. The event hosts two days of workshops and panel discussions along with two nights of artist showcases. This year I've been selected to perform at a showcase!
You can find me at the Pilot House on Saturday, March 29th at 8pm. I'll definitely be bringing out some new tricks and tunes for this one. Hope you can join us! I'll be sure to take lots of video for all those who can't make it down.

In the winter of 2013, I was planning a big move from California to Massachusetts. On top of all that, I was booking and planning a US tour and preparing for a month on the road in Germany. Needless to say, I was a rather busy person around that time. A few months prior to these plans, I had met Eric J. Vasquez, a director who had worked with some friends of mine on a music video. We had agreed that we would like to work together and all of a sudden it was crunch time.
Eric and his team of amazing people really came through and did some amazing work. Their ambition was high and we shot 2 music videos in 4.5 days. We drove all over southern California from the beaches of Malibu to the a loft in DTLA and, hey, even my old apartment makes an appearance in there.
Before just letting you watch the video, I'd like to thank the amazing crew and all of my kick ass friends who came out and rocked with us for the party scenes. I miss you all dearly and hope to see you again soon!
I hope y'all are having a wonderful holiday season. As the beginning of
a new year approaches, I felt the urge to give my fans something
special to start things right. So, I will be offering 100 free downloads of a brand new, fleshed-out version of "Your Heart Was Just the Start."
After recording the track for To The Bone, I hit the studio and
recorded a new version filled with harmonies, keyboards, grill grates
and even a cardboard box.

2013 is quickly coming to a close. It's been a fun
ride this year. It's crazy to look back and see all the places music
has taken me this year. In the beginning of this year I was wrapping up
production on To The Bone
which was released in March. The release of the new EP kicked off a
tour of the USA crossing from LA to Boston which was followed by a
month-long venture to Europe. In the midst of all of this I was also
relocating to the Northeast. I landed in Boston in May and have had
some great times already!
It all seemed so far away in the
December of 2012. As I reflect with one eye on the past, the other is
focused on the ever-approaching future. I've got a lot of irons in the
fire - a couple of music videos in mid-production, gigs lined up
throughout the spring and new songs written, demoed and ready for the
recording process. I'm very excited to shift gears and do it all over
Let's not forget, there's still some of 2013 left to
share! This Saturday, December 14th, I'll be playing two sets of music
at Wildflower Cafe in Duxbury, MA. Check it out here:
